About Record Shops Near Me
Independent record shop directory and data project
Record Shops Near Me is an independent directory for finding record shops, vinyl stores, and local music retailers around the world. The project exists to make it easier for collectors, travelers, and local listeners to discover shops with physical locations, online storefronts, or both.
1) What We Publish
The directory focuses on practical listing details: shop names, cities, countries, addresses where available, opening hours, websites, social links, Discogs pages, genres, and nearby or related shops. Store pages are designed to be useful first, not just searchable.
2) How Listings Are Maintained
Listings are assembled from structured sources, public shop information, submitted updates, and periodic review. Shop descriptions use saved description text. Search descriptions and social previews are generated from stored listing data. A listing does not mean every detail has been verified. Read about sources, review limits, and corrections on the methodology page.
3) Corrections
Record shops move, close, change hours, and update websites. If a listing is wrong or a shop should be added, contact us with the store name, page URL if available, and the corrected details so the listing can be reviewed.
4) Contact
For corrections, data questions, privacy requests, or partnership questions, use the contact page.
